Kathmandu; K&A Engineering Consultancy P.C., an American utilities consulting firm, distributed clothing and meals to help support children and lower income families for K&A Day – the company’s annual day of service.
The Nepal branch of the energy sector international firm has distributed clothes to 64 children of BAL ASHRAM, Bhandarkhal in Kathmandu and is feeding more than 100 economically disadvantaged individuals at SWAYAMBHUNATH. Rishi Kesh Sharma, Director of K&A’s Nepal Operations handed over the clothes to Ms. Priyanka Sharma, Director of Nepal Children Association Nepal in a program on Sunday.
“Each year, we celebrate the day our company was founded with a day of service, and we are happy to have provided this support to some of our more disadvantaged community members,” said Director Sharma. “The pandemic limited the amount of support we were able to provide this year, but we look forward to ramping up next year as we continue to support the communities where we live and work,” he added.
K&A has a worldwide network and its Nepal Branch opened in 2019 with four engineers. Now, just one year later, K&A in Nepal employs more than 20 people in multiple engineering disciplines, as well as in human resources, marketing, finance, and IT support operations. This growth enables K&A to fulfill its goal of doing great work for its clients while helping the communities where they operate.
