Kathmandu; A total of nine hydropower companies have been waiting to receive approval of the Securities Board of Nepal (Sebon) to issue their initial public offerings (IPOs) worth Rs 1.982 billion.
Out of them, Mandu Hydropower Limited and Bhagwati Hydropower Development Limited have been looking forward to issuing their primary shares at premium rates. While Mandu Hydropower will be floating 1,636,370 units of its IPOs for Rs 235 per share, Bhagwati Hydropower Development is floating 1,430,162 units at the rate of Rs 116 per share.
Upper Lohare Hydropower Company will be floating 2,498,040 units of its primary shares, Vision Lumbini Urja Company is floating 3,825,000 units, Manakamana Engineering Hydropower Limited is floating 2,800,000 units and Mid-Solu Hydropower Ltd is floating 1,496,800 units of its primary shares. Likewise, Chirkhwa Hydro Power and Mathillo Mailun Khola Jalvidhyut are also in the pipeline to issue 1,200,000 units and 2,500,000 units of primary shares, respectively.
