KATHMANDU; A total of eight hydropower companies listed at the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) have unveiled their financial reports of the last fiscal year (FY).

Of the hydropower companies disclosing their reports, Sahas Urja is reported to have earned the largest amount of net profit worth Rs 1.35 billion in FY 2025/26. The company’s profit earning jumped 51.84 percent.

Likewise, Super Madi Hydropower stood second in a row, with earnings of Rs 425.99 million in the review period. The company’s net profit surged nearly four-folds.

Mandu Hydropower and Swet-Ganga Hydropower also earned net profits of Rs 318.55 million and Rs 177.34 million, respectively. Mathillo Mailun Khola Jalvidhyut, Dibyashwari Hydropower, Manakamana Engineering Hydropower and Buddha Bhumi Nepal Hydropower also reported good financial progress in the last FY.
