Kathmandu : The group opened at 2,363.52 points and closed at 2,428.58 points. It went to as high as 2,447.56 points while it plunged to the lowest of 2,399.96 points during the transactions in the review period.
The country’s secondary market is in positive growth in the past two weeks after the banks started reducing interest rates on their loans. Stockbrokers said the banks’ flexibility to lower interest rates has helped raise the investors’ confidence in recent days.
Last week, the market gained 81.80 points. Similarly, the market capitalization increased to Rs 2.858 trillion from Rs 2.738 trillion. As a result, the investors gained Rs 120 billion out of their investment portfolio.
